ABSU Post-UTME 2021/2022 Screening

If you are applying for admission to Abia State University for the 2021/2022 academic session, this article is for you. Kindly read carefully in order to understand and make preparations for ABSU Post-UTME 2021/2022 Screening.

The management of Abia State University wishes to notify all candidates who applied for admission into Abia State University degree programme for the 2021/2022 academic session that the university’s post-UTME test schedule has been officially released.

ABSU 2021/2022 Post-UTME Screening Schedule

Day 1—Tuesday, 12th October 2021

Venue: Uturu Campus

Applicants to the following departments are to make themselves available:

  • Medicine and Surgery
  • Medical Laboratory Science
  • Nursing Sciences
  • Anatomy
  • Physiology
  • Public Health
  • Optometry and Pharmacy

Day 2—Wednesday, 13th October 2021

1. Faculty of Law and Agriculture

Venue—Umuahia Campus

2. Faculty of Biological Sciences

Faculty of Physical Sciences

Faculty of Engineering

Faculty of Environmental Studies

Faculty of Education/Agriculture

Faculty of Education/Biology

Faculty of Education/Chemistry

Faculty of Education/Maths

Faculty of Education/Physics

Venue—Uturu Campus

Day 3—Thursday, 14th October 2021

  • Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences
  • Faculty of Social Sciences
  • Faculty of Humanities
  • Faculty of Education/Accountancy
  • Faculty of Education/Economics
  • Faculty of Education/English
  • Faculty of Education/Fine Arts
  • Faculty of Education/French

Venue—Uturu Campus

Note that the screening test will hold by 10.00am on each of the days.

Qualification Requirements for the Screening Test

  1. Candidates who chose the university as their First Choice, Second Choice, as well as those who didn’t the university in the UTME but are ready to change their institution on the JAMB portal.
  2. Candidates who scored 140 and above in their UTME
  3. Candidates must have Five (5) O ‘Level credit passes in subjects relevant to their desired courses
  4. Registration Procedures for the Screening Exercise
  5. Candidates are to register online by visiting the Abia State University admission portal and make payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2, 000.00) only, choosing any of the following banks:
  • ABSU Micro-Finance Bank, Uturu
  • Ecobank Plc
  • Zenith Bank Plc
  • Fidelity Bank Plc
  • Union Bank Plc

Candidates who fail to register for the Post-UTME screening test will not qualify for admission
